As is often the case with me I find myself behind on posting figures I've painted and this is no exception. I painted these a few months ago, but just now got around to posting them. I really do need to up my game so to speak in terms of posting what I've finished.
Adding some more AWI units in the form of the 2nd continental light dragoons, but I'll likely use them to represent any continental cavalry. I usually use historical units as a guide to painting units rather then using them for just when that regiment actually was fielded so if I make errors it's not that important as long as they look the part.
I hope to get the units I already painted up posted soon, before the AHPC begins in December which should be fun!
Thanks for viewing!

DeleteVery smart Christopher. Perry figures do indeed look great when painted up, alas they are not very painter friendly in a lot of respects.
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly Phil. No, they are not painter friendly, but do look good once finished.

DeleteSuperb work, I din't realise these were once piece castings, you did a great job on them, lovely looking unit
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly Donnie. Yes indeed they are one piece casting.
DeleteSplendid additions to your AWI collection Christopher! For my money all Perry Miniatures are 'Swearier' to some degree or other.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much David. Yes I agree Perry miniatures will bring out the expletive outburst in the best of us, but they do pay off very well in the end.
DeleteThey look terrific. I'm painting some Perries myself so appreciate the work and the reward. I'm not worried how long it takes between completing a unit and their photographs appearing - I'm just pleased when they arrive so please relax about that!
