Just to give an update. The American Civil War is picking up steam at our club with two club members joining me in gaming the period. Since it's my favourite period I'm very happy! One will be collecting Confederates and the other will be collecting Union. I prefer rebels, but also like the Union so I'll be collecting for both sides. I'm almost finished with my first regiment and will post when finished. More coming soon!
Thanks for reading everyone! My plans for this summer is to paint ACW and my El Cid army as my Airborne is largely finished with only a couple additions to add. ACW will of course be an open ended project that I'll continue add to over the years with no end date while EL Cid should be completed by September.

It's true that I do like collecting a lot of periods,:-) but collecting both sides for ACW was never in doubt. I've already done it 15mm and now will in 28mm as well. This is the period of periods for me and both sides to include reading, modelling and studying fascinate me.;-)
Looking forward to your pictures. Somehow I can imagine that you will blossom into ACW awesomeness like you do with AWI. Somehow these periods are... you... if you know what I mean.
