I know that feeling all too well - and I'm on a painting deadline for a upcoming convention ;0) Great picture, really shows how long and narrow that passage was.
ReplyDeleteThanks and the bridge could fit roughly 6-8 guys across so wasn't extremely narrow, but was narrow.

Antietam is really a serenely bucolic battlefield, is it not?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what is in progress on your workbench.
It is a serenely beautiful battlefield. The above picture should give a hint of what I've been doing.:-)

I get what you're saying. I've been MIA for several months and will be for several more. Thankfully this is a nice bunch of people and wen never forget one another.
ReplyDeleteIt's no worry Anne. I've been blogging for quite some time and it's natural to have highs and lows as it's hard to keep a steady state of enthusiasm. Many will still be around, but quite a few fall off the road as it loses it shine. Looking forward to seeing you get back in there.:-)

A great shot, makes you want to recreate it on the table top.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you have picked those brushes up again.
I thought something like that would come to your mind Pat with you being Mr. Terrain maker.:-)

Welcome back. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. And thanks for the photo of one of my favourite places.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael and the bridge site is indeed very nice and quite peaceful considering it's violent past.

Lol! Wait, this isn't a painting of yours, Christopher? :) Maybe some terrain to get the mojo going?
ReplyDeleteI like the bridge and thought I would share it with everyone, but I may someday build a terrain piece based on this bridge.
