Some more Fallschirmjäger


Operation Squad is running very hot these days within my gaming circle(I'll give a review of the rules one day time permitting). In summation we love the rules!!
I noticed that I had too few Fallschirmjäger to play them properly the way I wanted so I've painted up a few more.
What I had forgotten was how darn hard they are to paint with several hours at least for each figure! However, I'm pleased with results and looking forward to adding them in my next game.
All are armed with Kar98's and in jump uniform.

    Very cool Christopher. The FJs look great. I haven't heard of those rules before so I'll have to look them up. The rage around here is currently the new Bolt Action rules.

    Superb painting on the camo, and a handy reference for it, if ever I decide to dabble with the FJs.

    Excellent Work, Camo patterns always end up taking longer than you think. I would be interested in hearing your receipt for the blonde hair on the bare headed figure?

    Basing on this is ace. I like the blonde / bare-headed one the best, you'd done solid work bringing out the expression.

    These are amazing. I really like the cammo patterns on the smocks. Its very hard to get the right look on German Para smocks, but my goodness, these figures certainly have it! Great painting.

    Great looking figs! The camo is very well done and I'm sure it's not easy to paint. Great looking bases and your "backing terrain" always looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to your rules review!

    Gorgeous work, Christopher! That splinter pattern effect you achieved is brilliant. I look forward to your review of 'Operation Squad'. The guys around here have been bitten with the 'Bolt Action' set but, being a rules junkie, I always like to hear about new ideas/approaches.

    Nice bases, is that static grass they're siting on? I tried to spread it like that, but it never sticks up as well as that.
