A quick update

Confederate view of Burnsides Bridge at Antietam from last summer.
Wow! This month just blew right by. Well just a quick update in that I have been painting, but just haven't posted anything yet. I'll for sure have some things up next month.

  1. I know that feeling all too well - and I'm on a painting deadline for a upcoming convention ;0) Great picture, really shows how long and narrow that passage was.

    1. Thanks and the bridge could fit roughly 6-8 guys across so wasn't extremely narrow, but was narrow.

  2. Antietam is really a serenely bucolic battlefield, is it not?

Looking forward to seeing what is in progress on your workbench.

    1. It's no worry Anne. I've been blogging for quite some time and it's natural to have highs and lows as it's hard to keep a steady state of enthusiasm. Many will still be around, but quite a few fall off the road as it loses it shine. Looking forward to seeing you get back in there.:-)

    1. Thanks Michael and the bridge site is indeed very nice and quite peaceful considering it's violent past.

  9. Lol! Wait, this isn't a painting of yours, Christopher? :) Maybe some terrain to get the mojo going?

    1. I like the bridge and thought I would share it with everyone, but I may someday build a terrain piece based on this bridge.
