Airborne Command and Mortar Squad

Just finished my command and mortar squad a few days ago and now getting around to posting them. At this point I'm ahead of my friend on points and so I'll take a  break and paint some of my other back logged stuff while he catches up to me. We also managed to get a game in of Disposable Heroes. I'll post some pictures of that if the pics come out.
As always thank you for viewing!:-)

  1. Fantastic painting, Christopher. As with the German paras, I can't imagine these figures painted better than they are here. Stunning!

    Best wishes

    The painting in itself is great, how many are done now of the regiment?

  7. I really like your painting style Christopher, very vibrant colours. I try to get my own figures to have more life about them but I have come to the conclusion that no matter what I paint: Samurai, ACW or Naps my colours look a little flat (It's just my style I guess)
    Keep up the great work!
    Cheers

  8. Thank you Paul, but you should know my figures in real life are not quite so vibrant. I ratchet up the contrast to better see the miniatures using a white background. However, that said I do like my colours strong on my miniatures. I suggest looking at my AWI as that has a normal background and gives a true picture of my miniatures. You will see that the colours are indeed strong, but not so in tense like the ones shown with a white background.

    @Michael

    Your fantastic work on ACW has pushed me over the edge on what is already my favourite period and I've now ordered a shed load of 28mm Perry and Redoubt ACW. Stay tuned!
