Finley's 6pdr. Battery/Cannon
This is Finley's 6pdr. Battery/Cannon.In this scene Finley decided he wished to show up in his finest military uniform as he didn't want to make a bad impression on the British! His men however, are far more practical.I decided to keep the cannon clean as the rest of the army was painted in same fashion. This helps keep the army cohesive in appearance.

Stevens Commander of the Virgina Militia
Here is Stevens the commander of Virgina Militia ready to crush the British or at least try and keep his men from running away!Another interesting thing about this period was the rustic buckskin uniforms some of the American officers wore. This was common with the rank and file and in the case of Americans, often officers wore it as well. This of course happened in other wars, but was a more common sight in North America then elsewhere.
